Prynt raises $1 million on crowdfunding site Kickstarter
Over 6 thousand backers help photo printing smartphone case reach huge milestone
San Francisco – Prynt, the smartphone case that prints out your pictures, has obliterated its Kickstarter goal by 2010% as of 9:00am on Monday 16th February raising over $1 million in funding from the internet community and swiftly rising. The team set an original goal of $50,000 and reached its funding goal in just 33 minutes after launch on 27th January.
Prynt Case fits flawlessly around your smartphone and allows you to print images taken from your mobiles photo gallery or social media channels with the click of a button. It features an augmented reality function which turns your images into video clips when scanned by your phones camera that are fun and instantly shareable. Prynt requires no batteries as it uses USB charging, and requires no ink.

Over 207,000 projects have been launched on Kickstarter, and a mere 30 Technology projects have ever reached $1 million – meaning Prynt is now amongst this prestigious minority. Now that funding has reached this landmark stretch goal, the team are announcing the results that backers have voted for on the new design option. The backers have spoken and the new design will be black with a cream/white accent.
Prynt is available in colors pink, white, blue and black with a cream/white accent, and is compatible with the iPhone 5, 5S, 5C, 6 and Samsung Galaxy S4 and S5. The Prynt Case is still available to back at $99 with shipping scheduled Autumn 2015.
