Prynt raises half a million on crowdfunding site Kickstarter in just 4 days

Over 3 thousand backers help photo printing smartphone case reach milestone

San Francisco – Prynt, the smartphone case that prints out your pictures, has raised over half a million dollars and counting after its launch on Kickstarter. Having smashed its funding goal just 33 minutes after launch, Prynt will now go into production with early bird backers receiving their units in August 2015.

Prynt Case fits perfectly around your smartphone and lets you print images taken from your smartphone gallery or social media with the click of a button. It features an augmented reality function, turning your images into video clips when they are scanned by your phone’s camera that are fun and instantly shareable. Prynt requires no extra batteries as it uses USB charging, and requires no ink

“We are delighted to not only see Prynt to go into production, but also to have found such a committed and excited community of backers on Kickstarter to join the Prynt family. We cannot wait to see people’s photographs and augmented reality clips, as memories become more precious and shared than ever before.„ CEO Clément Perrot

Now that funding is secured the team are announcing exciting stretch goals for the campaign, including a brand new design of the Prynt case if the campaign reaches $1 million. As a thank you to the Kickstarter community for their ongoing support, there will also be a complimentary addition to the case for all backers - a beautiful strap used with the Prynt to keep it safe and secure when not in use.

Prynt is available in colors pink, white and blue, and is compatible with the iPhone 5, 5S, 5C, 6 and Samsung Galaxy S4 and S5. The Prynt Case is still available to back at $99 with shipping scheduled Summer 2015.
